With the downtown skyline as your backdrop, NightLight 614 is a 21+ outdoor movie night complete with food trucks + local breweries on select Thursdays. Tickets sell fast, so it's recommended you secure yours now — especially when the lineup includes Wes Anderson classics like “The Grand Budapest Hotel” on Thurs., Aug. 4.
East of Easton
Each Tuesday in June, Easton Town Center hosts Movies by Moonlight around dusk featuring a free, kid-friendly movie. Movie start times depend on when the sun sets + the lineup includes “Trolls: World Tour” + “The Wizard of Oz.” Market + Me
While kids will be excited to watch movies like “Space Jam: A New Legacy” on Thurs., July 7, parents can stop by one of the 11 vendors (maybe cocktails at The Railhouse?) available at The East Market. Movies start at 8 p.m. + each session is free to attend.
Zero Park Thirty
Movie Nights with the Columbus Metro Parks offers the chance for adults + kids alike to watch a movie under the stars at a rotating lineup of parks. Families can enjoy “How To Train Your Dragon” at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park on Fri., July 15, while Marvel fans can rewatch “Spider Man: No Way Home” on Fri., Aug, 27 at Blendon Woods Metro Park.
Night at the Museum
Stop by the Columbus Museum of Art each month for outdoor screenings of classic movies like “The Incredibles” on Fri., June 17, or “The Karate Kid” on Fri., July 15. Each movie is played in the parking lot of the museum + is free to attend.

The former Eastland Mall could soon be demolished if it isn’t cleaned up within the next 60 days after a judge ruled it had become a public nuisance. The 70-acre mall has been in Columbus for 50+ years, standing as the oldest mall in central Ohio, according to its website. (NBC4)

Route 161 has been approved for construction. Officials announced Monday that the project will include widening a portion of the road connecting Columbus and Newark. This construction will help accommodate the influx of traffic due to Intel’s plans to build factories in Newark. 🚧 (The Columbus Dispatch)

Looking for a way to watch the Columbus Crew matches? Our local soccer club signed a deal with Apple TV where all of its games in 2023 will be live streamed on the app. With the new deal, games will not be subject to blackouts as it previously was under the ESPN+ contract. ⚽️
